DJ "David James" is the owner and founder of WOW! Entertainment. As of June 1, 2007 David will be serving as CEO and Chairman of the Board for WOW! Entertainment, Inc. The company originally known as "Weddings on Wheels" Mobile DJ Service has quickly grown to become one of the busiest entertainment companies in the Sioux Empire. In addition, WOW! Entertainment is now in 7 states including South Dakota, Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, Missouri, Kansas, and Hawaii. Plans are in place to expand to Las Vegas in 2009 and Chattanooga, TN in 2010. David Has been in the DJ business since 1978. He played house parties and in the parks of Milwaukee and Chicago until he was old enough to work the club scene. He went to college at UW Madison on a music scholarship and played Lead Trumpet in the Wisconsin Badger Marching Band. After graduation, David Joined the Air Force where he learned the art of mixing and scratching on turntables. His mentor was a DJ from Philadelphia named Tony Wilkerson a.k.a. "The Doctor of Sounds". immediately he went to work playing on weekends at the NCO Clubs where he was assigned. while stationed in Fairbanks, AK David also took time off from Air Force duty and toured the Air Force Bases with "Tops In Blue", a traveling variety show managed by the Air Force as an MC and a Sound Technician. After 12 years in the US Air Force, he transferred to the South Dakota Air National Guard and retired as a Master Sergeant with 20 years of service and working as a Squadron First Sergeant.Since 1992, David has been working as a DJ at clubs, weddings, corporate shows, school dances, and public events in the Sioux Empire and surrounding areas. He is best known for his 5 years at Borrowed Bucks Roadhouse. He was the original DJ who helped establish "TOP 40 TUESDAY" and the Thursday Night Harley-Davidson Give-Away with Jammin' Jay Williams from KIKN 100.5. About WOW! Entertainment... WOW! Entertainment will be filing a corporate charter effective June 1, 2007. Corporate Officers will be appointed and 100,000 shares of stock will be authorized. We handle over 1000 bookings each year with our 16 Celebrity Disk Jockeys specializing in Wedding Dances, School Dances, Public Events and Corporate & Holiday Functions. We also offer Videography & Video Post-Editing Services. Package deals are available for all budgets. We have also developed a full service talent agency representing a large variety of comedy hypnotists, comedians, magicians, singers, instrumentalists, and celebrity impersonators. We also work very closely with the Sioux Falls Jaycees to provide dances for the Campers at the Jaycees Camp for the Exceptional. In the past, if you attended the 4th of July Fireworks Celebration at the Sioux Empire Fairgrounds, then you saw David MC the evening which included The Sioux Falls Municipal Band, a speech from the Mayor Dave Munson, 2 Rock Bands and 5 Dance Numbers from WOW Entertainment's own I-29 DJ's. About 6000 attended the annual event, which ran from 7 pm to 11 pm. Currently, the South Dakota Symphony has been the headline act prior to the fireworks.
