Erin Hoiland has that perfect touch to make your wedding or event ‘sound’ perfect.
Growing up in Harrisburg, SD, Erin started playing the harp almost 9 years ago and has been playing weddings for the last 5 years. Two years ago, at the age of 19, she started her own business, “Harp By Erin”.
She is currently a Senior Music Education Major at Augustana College where she has been the principle harpist in the Augustana Band and Orchestra for the last four years. Aside from playing at Augustana, Erin has also played harp for the Sioux City Symphony, Dakota Wind Ensemble, and both the Roosevelt and Lincoln High School Bands. She has also had the honor of playing for former Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O’Connor, former SD Senator Tom Daschle and Sioux Falls Mayor Dave Munson. Erin plays a wide variety of music, but loves learning new music if you request a piece not in her repertoire.
Even though Erin lives in Sioux Falls, she loves the places her harp has taken her, such as Aberdeen, Pierre, Dakota Dunes, Okoboji and Minneapolis to name a few. Erin loves to say, music is like the paint brushes God gives us to paint His world.
